What is fate, how to accept it, and what to do to change it. by Panney Wei, C.Ht.

"Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Who would think that those branches would turn green again and blossom, but we hope it, we know it."-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Two days ago was the anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King Jr. I want to take a moment to thank him for his sacrifice and those of the Freedom Riders who walked along side with him peacefully to demand a more just and equitable government and a society that reflects kindness, inclusion, and respect and love for all mankind and fellow brothers and sisters on the path to truth, justice, and reaching goals.
I think oftentimes we only hear about the accomplishments of a person, and we sometimes don't hear about all the hard work leading up to the accomplishment and all the sacrifices made before the goal was accomplished and reached. In Martin Luther King Jr.'s case, we don't hear about all the details unless we sit in a civics course, a class in American history or civil rights and African American history.
I'm so grateful that my daughter is learning early on through school and through our efforts about the contributions to our society and our world, like those of MLK and those that paved the way for all of us to live in this great country, our America that is still seen as a leader and light in the world.
The problem is often we don't hear about how long MLK marched, how many times he was beaten, how many times he went to jail, and how his fellow activists who marched alongside him faced so much brutality and so much hate and obstacles towards their goals.
It takes tremendous courage to be able to stay strong in the face of adversity and in the face of those that wish to bring you down.
Now more than ever we need to be reminded that through hard times and adversity, that we need to stay the course, work hard, keep moving forward. Believe in yourself and believe in hope, and believe that we'll come out on top again and come out strong. Ultimately before the end goal and end game is reached, certain steps must come in place, and certain things must happen, and certain tests must be passed by us as individuals in order to get the gift of the lesson from the hardship you're going through, individually or collectively.
So I share with all of you, stay strong, stay on the path, stay the course, and don't give up. Believe in yourself. Whatever it is, whatever hardship you're facing, whatever difficulties you're enduring and going through right now that weigh on your spirit, your heart, mind, and soul and make you feel weary, just don't give up. Because the best is still yet to come. The worst is over. Now we're going to get through this all together.
In your darkest hour in life or whenever you go through a tough time, remember to have faith, and to continue believing that you will get through it. So to help with that, this week's podcast is on fate: "What is fate, how to accept it, and what to do to change it." Fate is different than destiny. Certain things must happen to you or will happen to you that are predestined to help you grow, and that is fate. But you can change what fate brings to you by realizing that certain things happen (those things that are fated to happen), but you can still change the course of your life and direction, even your environment. So even though certain things happened, you can change your life still! Feel free to listen here:

Walking the Labyrinth of Life by Panney Wei, C.Ht.

Hello my dear community of light, love, and hope:
I hope you all had a happy Easter and happy Passover for those celebrating or honoring these special holidays, and hope you've all had an amazing week so far! Even if you're not a religious person I think it's nice to take a moment and reflect on the symbolism of the holiday and its themes of rebirth, renewal, and positive energy and resurrecting! If there's anything in your that needs recharging, now as the spring reminds us and everything is blooming that it's time to recharge and renew things that might've been dead in life, or needing a rebirth.

Recently, it was Happy Doctors Day at the hospital where my father's been working at for over 34 years. I got a chance to meet some of the colleagues that my father works with; encouraging to see my dad surrounded by colleagues whose job daily is to resurrect the health of those in their care. I couldn't help but think they were all warriors in preserving and protecting good health and so thinking of my dad, and being a relative of one of China's greatest warriors, General Tso Tsuang- tang, who we are honored to be related to, I couldn't help it think my dad was also maintaining his legacy of service to his people. It was heartwarming to see all my dad's colleagues being so diverse in nature, thoughtful, intelligent and caring people. We talked about politics, the medical field, the Affordable care act, working as professional caretakers and what I do as a hypnotherapist to help with pain control and relieving stress for patients. It was a meaningful day and nice to see that my dad's work family was just as meaningful as his family life. That's what we all strive for right, a meaningful work and family life.
While I was waiting for my father to do his rounds, I stumbled upon the most amazing discovery right outside the hospital. The hospital was a beautiful building of glass and it felt like the labyrinth was like a gift for all who encountered it.

The inscription on the labyrinth read,"All are welcome to walk this sacred path". This labyrinth gave me the inspiration for this week's podcast because the labyrinth is a lot like the journey you take in life and walking the labyrinth is an ancient spiritual act of pilgrimage, symbolizing our journey through life, just as it is in life, taking one step after another, sometimes taking many turns, but leading you to the center and to the same place that everyone ends up. The center could be the core of who you are, your goals, purpose, whatever you are seeking, your spiritual center. All who walk the path eventually reach the center.
On this episode, I'll be sharing the 3 main movements one will take when it comes to maintaining your life, moving forward, and living the metaphor of the labyrinth. Welcome to the episode, "Walking the Labyrinth of Life" at: http://www.panneywei.com/podcast.html
Hope you enjoy it!

Happy Women's History Month and Introducing new podcast, See the Way with Panney Wei!

Hello friends,

First of all, I wanted to wish everyone a happy women's history month on this last day of this special month of the year. I hope we've all taken a moment to recognize all the strong and amazing women in our lives that help us, inspire us, or are present in our lives and help make this experience of living a lot lighter, a lot more fun, a lot easier, and a lot happier. Thank you to my teachers who have been there with me during this journey of starting my hypnotherapy and motivational speaking practice to producing my first podcast, Creating Positive Changes with Panney Wei, which ran for 8 years. It was a positive and wonderful experience to launch that show which aired on several internet radio stations and then found a home at KCAA 1050 AM radio, NBC News radio and ITunes where it was ranked Top 100 Best podcasts in Spirituality and was recognized as "New and Notable" in spirituality & self-help, and at one point, broadcast in over 240 countries. I thank God for its presence in my life, for the sponsors who supported it, and for the people and audience who listened and connected with me each and every week. But life progressed, and so it is with all things in life, one must change and move forward and evolve, and it was time to start a family, and so I did. I  took time to raise my daughter and took a break from producing this show in order to focus on her and our family. It was all worth it and worth the sacrifice because she's a well-adjusted, strong, insightful, kind, and happy child, but now it's time for a change again, and get back out there again and make a difference in our world on a broader scale.

No one ever tells you how hard it is to bounce back after taking time for your family; life is really like running a marathon and sometimes you fall real hard and stumble along the way, and you've got to get yourself back up and rise up again. Sometimes you have setbacks because you've got to pause, and the universe has other experiences in store for you. For those women that choose to have families, it's tough to temporarily put on hold some of your wishes and dreams or your life purpose you hold in your heart. It's like the Phoenix rising out of the ashes, you have to constantly work hard to be reborn again.
This has always been a theme in my life from the time I helped raise my siblings and fulfilled that rite of passage, to as many of us all do, go through the school, college, find the love of your life, get your heart broken, get back out there, get married and start families; these are all tests and rites of passage in life.
Not too long ago when things felt stagnant, I had time to think a lot while raising my daughter and wondering why there was this pause in my life that felt forever and enduring! I worked when I could, with hypnotherapy and coaching clients and doing speaking engagements and corporate professional development trainings, but most of my time was focused on laying a strong foundation for our child and family. I often thought that maybe God created this quiet pause in my life so I could do more self-reflection, so I could gain more clarity, so I could have certain, extraordinary experiences that would help me grow and be a better person, more spiritually connected, and collect wisdom from some of these experiences so I can eventually share them with others. Some of those experiences were and continue to be very difficult and the wisdom was hard-earned, but as I learned from when I was a young person and overcoming a life-threatening illness and near-death experience, was that staying optimistic and staying positive is more powerful beyond measure and a positive mindset can help you get through anything in life. You have to have the heart of a lion and the grit and spirit of a Phoenix in order to adapt and soar through anything difficult in life. So I thank all those who have crossed my path and all the experiences, good and bad, that I've had and endured and overcome. They have made me who I am and continues to shape me and my spirit. I hope to continue to be worthy of the wisdom I've gained from it all and then to share it with you all so that your journey will be easier, more peaceful, and your dreams and goals will be easier to ascertain as well.

I am thankful we are finally in the spring and it's time for everyone in spite of anyone or any obstacle, to reignite all your passions, dreams, or goals. Mine has always been to serve my community and make a difference in the world with the talents God has given me and the purpose He placed in my heart. Thank you to those who still believe in me; you know who you are and I'm grateful for you 🙏. With that, today I'm happy to share that I'm launching a brand new podcast called,"See the Way with Panney Wei" which is available on my website to download or listen directly at: http://www.panneywei.com/podcast.html. And will be available on ITunes eventually as well. I hope you enjoy the first episode and every week there will be a new message sharing a motivational message, inspiration, interviews with NY Times Bestselling authors, wisdom or compelling stories from numerous guests who are luminaries or experts in various fields, tips to help you have work-life balance and gain a synergistic harmony and success between your goals, loved ones, career and health, and share tools to improve your life personally and professionally, spiritually and mentally, to stay inspired on your path. Thank you for listening, for being patient, and for staying connected with me! I can't wait to share it with you. Happy Women's History Month! Blessings and love to you all!

Love,
Panney

Community Town-hall hosted by the Hammer Museum and UCLA

February 8, 2017

Thank you to the Hammer museum and UCLA for hosting a Post-Election Community Gathering and Townhall with Jessica Yellin, former chief White House correspondent for CNN, moderating a panel of organization and community leaders sharing their points of view about the consequences of the election, the confirmation of the new administration, and many other topics. It was enlightening, engaging, and wonderful to see so many people finally involved in their community! What was an rsvp of 100 maximum turned into over a 1000 and people from all walks of life. This is what America looks like and these are her people! Let's continue to walk on the side of right. Everyone has a conscience: it constantly whispers to you day in and day out whenever you are faced with tough choices, crisis of conscience, important matters, and serious struggles. There is always a side of right, and your spirit and conscience knows when you aren't following it because your intuition is always speaking to you. If you do wrong by it and go against your conscience, then guilt will seep in. If you're ignorant to your conscience and go against it without any self awareness, then you're out of touch with yourself. It's time to tap into our intuition and cling to our values that inspired the foundation of this country and to not forget it at this time. We have come a long, long way; I am concerned that some of our leaders in Government are wanting to bring us back to the 1930's, to a time where views were antiquated and women and minorities were discriminated against. Our country is rich because of all the people that inhabit it. So let's continue to Stay prayerful, hopeful, and stay on the side of right. 🙏 I know you'll sleep better at night and in the end of your life when you are faced with your choices, your legacy, how you treated people, and look at the people still around you, you'll either leave this earth with a clear conscience or you won't. With everything happening now in the world, I'm all in favor of creating a spirit of collaboration, tolerance, and mutual respect for the betterment of our children, our communities, our country, and our world. Let's continue to do what we can to teach our kids right from wrong, to do what's right, and stay on the side of the right, the merciful, the positive, and moving forward with mutual respect, wisdom, grace, and understanding. ❤️
"Freedom and justice cannot be parceled out in pieces to suit political convenience. I don't believe you can stand for freedom for one group of people and deny it to others."- Coretta Scott King

Peace and Love to all,

What Does the Year of the Rooster Mean, and How to Manage Stress in the World Right Now and Invoke the Blessings of the Lunar New Year! by Panney Wei, C.Ht.

Dear Friends,

The Lunar New Year of the Rooster was on January 28th this year and it took me some time to figure out what to say and share with you all considering all that's happening in the world at this time. I had the recent experience Of seeing a beautiful lion dance over last weekend and now more than ever can understand the significance of such a tradition and ritual in Chinese culture. When you witness it, it not only displays a positive feeling but there is a force within the sound of the drums, the movement and the dances, that make you feel like change and magic is happening while witnessing the dance. As all dancers know, your body evokes energy and energy channeled and shared with others is a form of magical act and transformation. That was my experience being a figure skater who danced on ice.
video

The lion dance has been part of the Chinese culture for thousands of years and is performed on auspicious occasions such as weddings, store openings, and various festivals and celebrations. The lion, a symbol of power, wisdom, and good fortune, chases away evil spirits and brings happiness, longevity, and good luck. Everyone watching the dance at this event was a beautiful blend of so many cultures and it reminded me of the quote, " E Pluribus unum", or "out of many, One', the motto of the United States of America.  It was a beautiful experience.

At home, we celebrated by preparing hot pot, the act of eating together and sharing a meal in a circle over one pot is also an auspicious act of being together as one. I hope we can all still remember this. I understand that it's hard with all the information coming out at you from all angles. So to help with that, I would recommend the following (my top 8 tips)  to continue ushering in the new year and it's new energy and hopefully powerful change, staying on your path, and seeing the way through the new year.:

1. Stay grounded - Do a daily active meditation or schedule time to reflect and go inwards so that you can gain perspective on things and activate your inner guidance that is connected to Source and can guide you in all things. This isn't just passive meditation to clear your mind; this is an active connecting of your mind, body, spirit to the source of all creation so you can receive guidance and answers in the stillness of your mind. It's about getting in touch with your soul. 🙏

2. Use your logical mind in connection to your intuition and gut instinct to weed out the fray, the unnecessary, and the disruptive in your life. This applies to people, information, and situations. Your intuition and gut instinct is the most important asset you have. The more you trust it (when it points you from Wrong and right) the clearer it becomes. Your instinct and logical mind can help you sort the truth from unthruths and guide you in the right direction. A wise person once said,"Fear is a feeling, not a fact." Good words to remember. In my hypnotherapy practice, I teach people that there is a difference between a phobia and a fear. A phobia is an irrational fear that doesn't have a basis on any truth. A fear could be from personal experience but also is not a truth, habit, or fact. An example would be if you have a phobia of flying; if you've never been in a plane crash or accident, then the phobia is not based on real experience or evidence. It's just something created in the mind. If you have a fear about something, like birds, people, water, or small spaces, the brain sometimes gets triggered by events or other small things in life unrelated to the fear but triggers anxiety, or a feeling of a lack of control anyways. It's usually based not on truth unless an event actually happened to you like a near-drowning (if you have a fear of water) but most likely, can be healed very easily through hypnosis which allows one to change ideas or negative associations in the subconscious mind. Just remember, phobias are not based on fact. It's a negative association in the mind that has no basis or truth. So use your logical mind to help you figure out the truth in every situation, and use your intuition, and your common sense and balance of right and wrong to read every situation and person. Your intuition is in invaluable tool, if you have access, you can access a world of information and  answers.

3. Take breaks when life becomes overwhelming and beware of being addicted to too many escape mechanisms. It doesn't mean you take a long long break from your daily activities and rituals. But it means if you need a break to center yourself that you honor yourself to do it. You can exercise, go for a hike in nature which I did this week which was gratifying not only in spirit but for my body and mind. You can watch something uplifting or listen to something uplifting. You can call a good friend who is grounded, positive and hopefully wise to keep you going. You can take refuge in positive nourishing people or things like your children, your loved ones or friends and family. Eat something good, have a nice glass of wine but don't over do it. The point is everything in moderation.  Beware of creating negative habits. The truth to having power over your own life is being self-aware and mindful of your actions, impulses or triggers, And reactions and give your mind a mental break!

4. Take control of the news that comes to you. You control what you read, see, and hear. Take time to change your news filters, alerts, and prompts. Stay informed but maintain a balance so you don't get overwhelmed. Your body provides signals when you're overloaded. It can give you neurological signs of distress, through your emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Don't ignore them. Watch your anxiety levels, and if you feel anxious, then you need a break, slow down, and pause for a moment. Take a break. Switch your emotional state by watching or listening to something positive or take a mental break and exercise which releases positive endorphins to the body and most importantly, the brain. All these actions present a shift in the current emotional state, and the wiring in your subconscious mind, so you become more in control of what you intake, rather than at the hands of those that want to feed you news, info, and all!

5. Take time to do some self-reflection and a review of your values and experiences and your reactions to them the last few weeks. The new year is about ushering in new energy but also a review of what is important to you so you can set a good tone for the new year in how you want your life to go.

6. Gratitude: Be grateful for what you do have and the people who are still in your life. An attitude of gratitude always brings you more. But you'll live life a happier person, less resentful, less entitled, and more open, more aware, and more conscious that your life affects others and vice Versa.

7. Understand that the year of the Rooster symbolically means on a world scale that nations, people's, and all will be, like the rooster, shouting out what they believe in, and you'll see displays of actions where people are competing for who has the most power or what is more important. This is all important and meant to happen. It's no coincidence. But I feel that with these recent events, we are forced as human beings to turn inwards and tune into our spiritual sides of ourselves in order to retain balance because there is so much chaos and so much interference from the outside. I see this as a positive gift from what's happening. Like with anything in life that needs to be healed, it will often get worse before it gets better. An example is when you have a bad fall, and you get a deep bruise. It hurts from the inside; the pain is deep, the color reflects the pain as well, but like all pain, it forces you to look deeper, go deeper, excavate the problem, the truth, and then heal it.

8. Believe in yourself and tune out negativity. Do not fold into depression, inactivity, frustration, or giving up all your power to one person or situation with anything in life. Make decisions for yourself, tune into your own voice and inner guidance. The more you know yourself, the less you'll be swayed by others, and the stronger you'll be so you won't be fatigued or distracted by people or situations, and take matters into your own hands and continue to reach your goals.

In my Hypnotherapy and motivational speaking practice and through my podcast, See the Way with Panney Wei, I've always tried to teach people to take charge of their lives, and that they have the power to change things at any moment and that they have the power to be the change they wish to see in the world. I have never seen so many people more engaged in their lives until now and taking charge of areas they felt needed change. People are starting to believe in themselves even more, and that is a wonderful thing.

I hope everyone keeps their goals in mind, their prayers for peace in their hearts, and the belief in their own power as individuals to create real, long lasting change at any moment. Happy new year of the Fire Rooster! May you continue to shoot for the stars and realize your dreams and shout like the Rooster out loud all the wishes you have in your heart and wish to invoke in the world, the prayers in your soul, what you'd like your life to look like, your visions and hopes, and eventually will manifest. You can do it! Wishing you many blessings, much peace, and an abundance of love in the new year from everyone, everything, and everywhere.

Thank you to the Women's March in Los Angeles

Dear Community:

I want to first start with thanking the coordinators and chairs of the Women's March in LA for organizing such a fantastic program that lasted an entire day. Over 750,000 Angelenos walked the streets of downtown in a peaceful demonstration of solidarity and over a million in our country, and in total 2.3 million people including 32 countries around the world, in favor of preserving and promoting our natural human rights as men and women at this time. It was a wonderful experience to be amongst the crowds, and a wonderful opportunity to teach our daughter about the importance of civic engagement and not taking for granted the rights and freedoms granted to us as US citizens. I don't know what party she'll be affiliated with in the future or what her choices may be, but I respect her own individual choices as little human being who will grow up one day to change the world in her own way, and I'm doing my part in teaching her the values that I have learned on my own and the values of kindness towards each other, common decency, integrity, and treating everyone the way you'd like to be treated. To us, Saturday was about an exercise in expressing our own voice and our own thoughts as human beings.

On my back I have a tattoo that reads "Truth" in Chinese mandarin that I imprinted on my body in my early 20's. It's something I've always felt was my anthem and what I seek in all aspects of my life and work. I help people in my hypnotherapy and motivational speaking practice to seek the truth and get to the bottom of any problem, individually or organizationally in a group dynamic. By seeking the truth and getting down to the core value, lesson, essence, or understanding about anything, even though it might be painful, is the truth that will liberate you, provide healing, and provide forward motion and movement. One must always heal the core issue first. This is what I believe is also happening in our state of affairs right now. And that's why civic engagement is so important. You have the power and responsibility over your own life and choices. From someone that uses positive words to create powerful change in people for a living but doing it for good and to help heal and transform their lives, do not be easily hypnotized into believing someone who uses negative words for division and destruction and believing in any person in power, especially our president, without seeking the truth yourself. It's important to do research, read everything, make your own decisions, and see all sides of every situation before you lend your devotion to someone or some cause or some thing.

Words are very powerful. Words have life and breadth in them. Positive words can take root in you and plant seeds of greatness, compassion, and healing, and negative words can create insecurity, anxiety, pain, or the downfall of someone or some thing or even large groups of people as we have seen in history from Napoleon to Hitler. And as Gloria Steinem said, "We all know from Berlin that walls don't work." With regards to physical walls, people will find ways to go around them, under them, through them, over them for the pursuit of liberty, justice, and freedom, which every human being on this planet should have. It is the indominatable strength of the human spirit that keeps us moving and growing and no one person can bring it down unless you let him or her. So my feeling is that we should all help each other; and I am all about helping all people live up to their potential, and that lends into how I feel about our country and its greatness and capacity to heal and help mankind.

To me, Saturday was really about our human rights, and to treat everyone we see with love, respect, and kindness. To live up to your full potential and capacity as a human being is to stand up on the side of right and to not let hateful rhetoric bleed into your mind, heart, and soul. We all know spewing negative rhetoric is wrong; it's never been OK and alienating people is never OK. I worry that people think it's OK to do it now. Women and minorities have always had it harder in living in this society. I'm so glad that Saturday we saw so many of our fellow brothers in humanity walk with us, and brothers and sisters who were not people of color walk with us. Because this struggle has been real and present in our lives as Asian Americans for a very long time all the way back to when the Chinese came to America to build the railroads so that people could communicate, travel, and have prosperity across lands and communities, to the Chinese exclusion act, the wrongful internment of Japanese Americans following World War II, and the lack of representation in different sectors of society, especially the media where roles and opportunities are scarce, and so on and so forth. I want every person, woman and girl, to know that they are as valuable and beautiful and important as any person, any male counterpart and any other person of color. I still believe in our beautiful country, and the people who inhabit it. I do believe we can make positive change happen, and create a beautiful world that's safe, just, kind, and a light in the world, and make a better future for our children. <3 span=""> But it first starts with us. We have to be the change we wish to see in the world. No one else will do it for us. We have to do together. <3 span="">

To close I want to share a song by Andra Day, called Rise Up, and a poem by Ehrmann that I hope will uplift you and ignite your hearts as we go about this week and head into the Lunar New Year, The Year of the Rooster: “Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans...You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.”
God love you, God bless you, and continue to be prayerful. <3 span=""> God bless America.

We Stand United

January 19, 2017

On Saturday, #WeStandUnited. I am mystified that some people are still living in a bubble and do not realize the truth and the facts surrounding this past election from our intelligence community who we should respect and be grateful for, and that Russia's hacking and interfering in Our election process and democracy is a very serious matter, and a serious cause for concern for everyone. Any person who speaks highly and appeals to Russia/Putin who is a war criminal is not a patriot of America. You can have diplomatic relations but being in bed together is all together dangerous. It may feel sexy for a moment, but you will be betrayed in the end by a very dangerous adversary.
Together, I will be marching with my daughter and others on Saturday for all our basic human rights, women's rights, and the protection of our country. We are standing up for the values that created this country and to push back against those who through their ignorance are trying to tear it down. At this time, it's not a Republican vs Democrat issue, it's an American issue. It's about preserving and protecting our national values, our national security, which is in jeopardy, our rights and freedoms as US citizens and the protection of how far we've come as a nation. This is an American issue and every one who lives here should be deeply concerned and if you aren't, you must wake up. As a hypnotherapist and handwriting analyst, I can tell you that even by studying our President- elect and his handwriting, that he's a troubled person, and I worry he is not here in this office to prove anything to you, to serve those who voted for him. I have compassion for him but this is not about him, the office of the president is about the people, we the people.
I've studied human behavior for a very long time as a behavioral scientist and met with many people, and many Seriously ill people and it's sadly evident by his actions that we are not being cared for. It will be like a selfish lover who will kick you to the curb once you've devoted your life to him or her; they will leave you with false promises and not a care for your life or heart. Like a selfish lover, or narcissist, you must watch and assess what they do, not what they say. And what we have seen is that like attracts like and the appointees and cabinet member choices so far have been uncaring, without thought, and unbelievable. Would you go see a lawyer to take care of an ailing health issue? No! So why would you put people in positions of power that have no prior experience? It's not common sense.
I'm being reminded by a quote from the very wise James Baldwin, "It is certain, in any case, that ignorance, allied with power, is the most ferocious enemy justice can have." This is what we're dealing with. On Saturday, Today and every day, Let's fight for our democracy, fight for our safety, our God given rights, and the protection of our country, and all the other countries we are allied with and have promised to protect as well! This is not just about America! It's about our beautiful light and leadership and vision in the world! Together we will march on and march forward and believe that the power of one person and many people together can create change. Gandhi once said, "Strength does not come from physical capacity; it comes from indomitable will." Well, I am all for that. I've been through some serious shit in my life and this shit is not going to stop us now. This kid here has the sheer force of will to create change and she believes she can make a difference. Today she told me,"Mommy, I'm sad about things. But I won't give up!" I believe in her and I believe in us all to make a difference. The USA is a country of "We the People." So We can do this!
Yes we can and yes we will! #letsdothis #westandunited #gandhi #wethepeople #powertothepeople
